Korr Design is a full service interior design company, specializing in hospitality, restaurant, and retail design. Now in its fourteenth year of operation in Calgary, Korr has helped bring countless design dreams to fruition. With a significant focus on site coordination and construction, Korr takes a holistic approach to all they do; ensuring the original design integrity is maintained from start to finish. Each project is addressed with a clean creative slate, meaning no two spaces will look alike. This allows each client and operator to truly be treated as an individual - keeping their vision at the forefront of every major decision. 

Korr likes to collect great people and keep them as part of the family. Principal Designer Kasey Sterling and long-term business associate Rob Stevens, have come together to launch Korr Construction in 2024. Both have fostered deep relationships with clients, trades, and members of the Korr Team. From concept to completion, Korr’s seamless method helps our clients navigate every step of the interior design and construction process. While our scope may be vast, our focus is always on you.

 
 

Kasey Sterling // Principal Designer

Kasey Sterling is the principal and visionary of her firm – Korr Design. She has been creating sophisticated and functional spaces with efficiency and passion unmatched by others, drawing upon her own experience in the hospitality and retail industries. 

Originally hailing from the province of beautiful British Columbia, Kasey founded Korr with over 10 years of experience in the Interior Design Industry.

Sterling’s unique talent of harmonizing a multitude of aesthetic and utilitarian factors proves essential in the development of comfortable interiors that provide top quality service, and has earned her work multiple awards, as well as a following of elite and discerning clientele.

Kasey stays true to the somewhat “old-school” practice of sketching by hand, and believes that process in itself to be an integral foundation in breathing creative life into all projects. 

Instead of identifying with a specific style or aesthetic, Kasey prides herself on the fact that it’s rare to walk into a room and immediately know it’s the work of Korr.



 
 

Rachel // Intermediate Interior Designer

Rachel, an accomplished interior designer, has been an integral part of the Korr Design team for the past seven years. After completing her Bachelor of Interior Design at Mount Royal University, Rachel has dedicated four years of full-time work to the firm, following her part-time involvement during her studies. During her time at Korr Design, she has gained extensive experience across both commercial and residential spaces. Her portfolio showcases a diverse range of successful ventures, including senior living facilities, upscale restaurants, vibrant nightclubs, elegant hotel designs, food kiosks, and captivating residential interiors.

Passionate about the integration of brand identity and company philosophy into experiential interior design spaces, Rachel approaches each project holistically. Her enthusiasm shines as she guides the process from conceptualization to completion, consistently bringing creativity and meticulous attention to detail to solve design challenges in innovative and thoughtful ways.

Rachel's strong foundation in various art mediums allows her to effectively communicate visual design intentions through comprehensive concept packages, sketches, and digital renderings. With her solid experience and expertise, she skillfully integrates client objectives and project requirements, delivering outstanding results that align with Korr Design's commitment to excellence.

 
 

Amanda // AutoCAD Technologist

BA

Amanda is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a rich background in hospitality spanning over a decade. Her journey into the world of design was ignited by her innate passion for interior aesthetics. Eager to deepen her knowledge, she pursued and obtained a Certificate of Completion in AutoCAD, equipping herself with the technical skills necessary to bring Korr Design’s creative visions to life.

A holistic understanding of functionality and aethetics has led Amanda to successfully combine her hospitality experience with her expertise in AutoCAD. With customer service and satisfaction at the core of her work ethic, Amanda ensures that every project is met with the highest level of care and attention.

 
 

Lisa // Accountant

CPA, CGA

Lisa brings over 15 years of accounting for small business experience to the Korr team. Gaining a wide range of experience working for several small start-up companies, Lisa enjoys being part of a small team and is passionate about helping companies succeed. Lisa holds a strong skill set in cash management, reporting and process refinement.  She is a diligent accountant with strong attention to detail and a great asset to the team.

Migrating west to Calgary from Manitoba to ride dressage horses, Lisa met the love of her life and they share two amazing boys. Lisa currently competes in the sport of dressage with her horse Z, and enjoys spending time with her family.
